Every step is documented and agreed with you. If something can’t be done lawfully, we say so before you commit.

Confirm it’s yours to examine
We examine only devices, accounts and premises that are yours to use, or that you are authorised to examine, and record that authority in writing before we start.

05 —Where we draw the line
What we will never do.
Indian law protects everyone’s privacy — including the person you are asking about. These limits protect your case, too.
- We never access a device or account unless it is yours to use or you are authorised to examine it — paying for a phone someone else uses is not enough.
- We do not install spyware or monitoring apps on anyone’s phone.
- We do not plant devices — we only find them.

Can you get into my spouse’s or partner’s phone?
No. We examine only devices and accounts that are yours to use, or that you are authorised to examine — and paying for a phone, or having it in your name, does not make a spouse’s or partner’s phone yours to examine. Accessing anyone else’s phone or accounts without consent is an offence under the IT Act, whatever the relationship.
Can you recover deleted WhatsApp messages?
Sometimes, from your own phone or its backups. It depends on the device, its age and how it has been used since. After a first look, we will tell you whether recovery is realistic before you commit to more.
What happens if you find a bug or tracker?
We photograph it in place and advise you before anything is removed, because it may be evidence. If you decide to file a police complaint, we help you document the find for it.
Can you sweep our office without staff knowing?
Yes. Sweeps are usually done after hours or on a Sunday, and only the person who booked us needs to know.
